Start your conference experience early by attending a Pre-Conference Institute or Experience! Get a continuing education credit out of the way, sharpen your leadership skills, or take time for yourself by registering for one of these institutes!
Although the schedule for each institute is not yet finalized, below are some of the opportunities to consider.
Global REVM: 1st-3rd July
Explore your calling to ordained ministry.
REVM is the official denominational in-take program for MCC designed to help individuals discern and/or further their call to ordained ministry in MCC. REVM is the gateway program to explore preparation for Professional Spiritual Leadership in MCC. This program is designed for individuals at the very beginning of their process with MCC, those serving as Interim Pastoral Leaders, as well as for clergy in good standing from other denominations who want to transfer their credentials to MCC. There is a personal financial commitment that must be made to this process, so prior to entering REVM one should seek the counsel of their local Pastor, Denominational Elder, or a member of the Community Development-Leadership Development Team.

If you have ANY questions, please contact Rev Cathy Alexander at revcathyalexander@mccchurch.net
Network Leaders Training/Workshop: 1st-3rd July
This is a time for MCC Network Leaders to join together and explore the roll and responsibilities of the Network Leader. For more information on this Pre-Conference Institute, email Rev. Dexter Brecht at revdexterbrecht@mccchurch.net
Council of Elders Pre-Conference Retreat: 3rd July
The Council of Elders will be hosting a Pre-Conference Retreat during the morning on Thursday, 3rd of July from 9am to 11am . Join them as they help us gain understanding of our need to rely on the Spirit of Wisdom to strategize UFMCC growth and survival in these Perilous Times.
For those unable to attend the Transformational Weekend onsite but have registered for the online portion, the Retreat will be hybrid allowing ALL to join from around the world.
To provide adequate resources, we are asking those who wish to attend both onsite and online to register for the Retreat. There is no cost to attend but are suggesting a $25 USD donation. Please use the link below to register.
Digital Ministry: Mission. Engagement. Connection. 3rd July
Whether you are just starting or want to expand your Digital Ministry, this half-day session will ground your efforts theologically and guide your decisions as you move forward. Move beyond followers and viewers to engaged congregants. Deepen connection with and between online congregants. Consider best practices from experts in digital ministry.
Attendees will be invited to participate in a congregational survey, after Conference. The results of each unique survey will be shared with that congregation.
This session is facilitated by Rev. Colleen Darraugh, whose doctoral dissertation is in digital ministry (United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities). Colleen is also a Digital Ministry Senior Fellow with Convergence. She currently pastors MCC Knoxville, Tennessee, USA.
